glad I didn't miss much then. Surely with Mickey's past experience with Britannia he would have been a good one to involve more and they had loads more to use with theJack/Mickey cases crossing each other! That could have had a good old fashioned argument fallowed by a cuppa tea. Is the Bill permantly on Tuesdays? that's what it sounded like. Normally I would complain but that means that wohoo, it's on tonight and its THEE episode with Mickey and Max. The previews look great and Mickey is oh so smart in that tie of his. Come on Jack, get in there to comfort him I mean Mickey's friend has just been killed!

I know. He's looking sexy this evening I love this ep and not just for the eye candy. Considering Mickey's keeping his mouth shut you'd think Max would treat him a bit nicer. Also I still don't get Jo's comment to Mickey about smoking - back story please TB

I noticed that too. Maybe he's trying to quit. I did like his conversations with Jo, especially since she seems to egg hi on to annoy Max lol. Then again, don't kill me for saying so but I sort of like Max and Mickey working together, they're both so different it works. I get why Max had to snort the stuff, I can see Mickey doing that when he was younger too. as part of the cover. In Britannia he acted against the regulations to keep his cover and get involved further. But Max arresting for the drugs was terrible. It could have put them and Jeremy in the frame.
One more thing. Black suit = FANGIRL!

Oh I got why Max took the cocaine, but then I was sat watching thinking they were both giving off signs they were coppers. Max was asking a million questions a moment and Mickey was refusing drugs when he's meant to be a dealer's best mate. I'm surprised they made it out of there without being sussed. Also considering Max took cocaine he seemed to suffer no effects. He looked paler than usual but that was it. I lost count of the amount of times I thought Mickey was going to cry in that episode bless him. I guess he wasn't allowed as it would show up the seriously bad man crying of him who played Jimmy I loved that Jo/Mickey part where Mickey was telling her about how he supposedly gets too attached (you do Mickey but we love you for it ) and Jo's "Well just imagine Max's face when you prove him wrong" lol! I wonder if there'll be any repercussions to what Max did. It seems like there's still a tension between him and Mickey, especially after his whole " Don't lose any sleep over this Mickey, I'm sure I won't." (We all know Mickey will, he loses sleep over his lost causes all the time poor soul ) I'm looking forward to capping this episode from a fangirl perspective!

Getting attatched though is part of Mickey's speciality. He gains the victim's trust and they realise that he really does want to help them and understands what they're going through. It'll help to form a good community of trusties when witnesses are needed. plus, who cannot look into his eyes and not feel better?
I do like his friendship with Jo. I hope they show more of that, including the back story to his giving up cigarettes (although he was smoking earlier in the episode, we saw Mickey!) she could be a good one to support him if things get nasty with Max.
The clip they showed of next week looked good, although no Mickey. I'm starting to like Neil a bit now, and next week looks like a good chance for him to get some serious emotion in there! poor guy.

Was Mickey smoking earlier in the episode?! I missed that! He does get himself very attached, I don't think he used to. It's a sort of post 2003 development. I do remember him going through a phase of not giving a stuff in 2005 He has really emotive eyes bless him! I love the Mickey/Jo friendship though it seems they've paired up more since Chris and Sally danced together! If things get nasty between Mickey and Max they'll be a queue forming to support Mickey. Plus you know Jack won't let anything happen to his boy (Totally reminded me of Vik saying to Jack "How come I can't do this but Mickey can run around doing what he wants?" and Jack asking if he was being accused of favouritism. uh yes - and you do!) Next week looks good. I expect good things from Andrew Lancel. And Lucy Speed.

I would like to think that Jack would stand up for Mickey, but they hardly ever say a word to each other anymore, Jack might just leave them to it. ooo there's a story idea. Jack ignores Mickey and then something drastic happens to Mickey and Jack feels guilty and they get together to help each opther out in the end.....yes I live in a world of fanfic. Which episode did Vik say that btw? lol! Mickey was smoking just after the credits came on when he and Max were waiting for Jaimie to drive up and meet them, at least I think he was.

Yeah last night's. I apologise profusely if I go into too much detail and spoil the episode for you. There was a man called Paul who attacked this elderly man thinking it was the coach who had sexually abused him as a child but it was a case of mistaken identity. Mickey interviewed the man who'd been attacked and they realised there was a mix up when the wife gave a statement. They then had to investigate Paul's claims of abuse and were looking for people to corroborate his story and found this man called Martin who admitted the abuse to Banksy but said he wouldn't press charges. Neil had a lot to deal with waiting for Jake's test results to come back from the hospital whilst all this was going on. CID discovered Morrison was still working with kids and Neil told Mickey to go to the gym and pretend he had a son who wanted to start boxing lessons as Mickey wanted to straighten him out hence Mickey asking if his kid was a tearaway. When Mickey went to the gym he rather funnily improvised his child as being called Neil. Paul was talking to Manson and said Martin should come forward as he had a family to support him, Neil told Martin this and Martin changed his mind and came to the station with his wife. Mickey interviewed Martin and it was rather sad as to me anyway, it seemed Mickey was rather upset when he asked for "times, place, details and nature of the abuse" in my personal opinion because he knew how damn hard it was to tell someone about being sexually assaulted. Mind you I look into everything Mickey does far too deeply Neil and uniform went to arrest Morrison who admitted the abuse. Neil went to tell Paul the good news only to find him stood on top of the roof of a block of flats looking as if he was about to jump. Neil gave him the news and thankfully he didn't jump. Neil, Grace and Banksy were back at Sun Hill finishing paperwork. Grace asked Neil if he was staying late, he declined and she left. Neil opened up to Banksy about Jake but said "just between us ey Banksy?" Neil went to the hospital to see Jake but his ex wife and her new husband were there so I don't think he went in. As he was leaving Banksy turned up and Neil told him Jake had been diagnosed with Leukaemia, Banksy persuaded Neil to go for a drink with him. Making me sorta like Banksy in the process.

I think I'm falling in love with Neil too/ oh they can't stop them Bill, not now I'm getting so attatched to them, all. Darn I can't believe I missed that interview scene with Mickey, Chris can certianly pull off some great subtle emotions, so realistic and deep. And the scene when Neil opens up makes me want to cry just thinking about it!

Yeah I like Neil and it really was a heartbreaking scene between him and Banksy. The interview scene was good, it sounded like Mickey's voice might break any second because he was trying not to get too upset. Though I did have housemates talking over the TV to contend with so he might have actually been fine about it
