when did he go on the balcony? how could I have not realised that? aaw bless, he did well not to show it much then, even though I know I'm not the most observant person in the world I failed to notice. The things he does for the job.

It was when he was talking to Jasmine outside the flat. He had a peer over the side and then shuffled backwards away from the edge.

are football matches really this violent? I mean the two supporting sides fighting each other? yikes Jack was harsh with Mickey, and ooo they just shared a look!

I wondered the same thing RE: footie matches - apparently some are! I actually liked the Mickey-Jack moment. It was very 'old school' with Mickey sort of being involved in the screw up and getting bollocked for it. The look was great as well, I'm expecting Mickey to apologise at some point. Also Mickey and Stevie make such a great team! Loved their banter on the stairs...and seriously he's still hankering after that leggy blonde?! I do like how he's progressed to reading newspapers now ...our boy is growing up Poor baby with the bin though. It did provide us with denim though so for that I'm grateful Sad I miss next weeks, I'm at a wrestling house show I'll have to record and watch later.

Anyone else immediately think "I'd offer to go get his paper and then make breakfast in bed?"
Can't wait for next weeks.
Loved Mickey/Jack so much.

oh I'd make him pancakes and coffee and fluff his pillows and.....sorry what was the topic?
I loved his little sunday speech on the stair to Stevie, they've always made a great pair, it would be nice to see if they would work together as a couple? perhaps?
Denim!!!!!!

I know I thought "I wish I was blonde" If he could deal with cereal for breakkie then yeah sure I'd make him it That or get him a yoghurt..... Mickey-Jack was fab. I've missed them so! Also now I can't look at Mickey/Stevie without thinking UST! and wanting to pair them together as a romantic pairing I still love how annoyed!Mickey always results in "Oi!" Plus was anyone else thinking "Britianniamania"?

When I saw the guy in the crowd wearing glasses I was like "spex!"
Mickey/Stevie are a bit too much like brother sister for me I think, but I do imagine them going out on the piss and getting absolutely legless together

That's a good point, they even look slightly siilar....or is that just me? I would love to pair them up still though just to see if it does work out, they're both great people and need someone too. who else better than each other, they clicked fro the very beginning. Yes, Brittannia has popped up in my head loads this week, Mickey had to deal with alot worse than yesterday's ep when he was undercover!

I watched it last night after getting back from the wrestling - man that shirt was scrummy. I loved the parts with Mickey/Terry and the roof. I loved the guy going " It's burning my eyes!!" and Mickey's " Stop whingin' - it's fairy dust!"
I also have this image of them presenting Chris and Bruce with the script and saying they're going to make one of their characters afraid of heights for the roof scene and Chris just going " Bruce! Bruce please! I would like to stay on the ground far away from the scaffolding ta! Mickey has enough trauma, no roof scene for him! He does tea and sympathy..."

No Mickey didn't go on the roof. He stayed in one of the stairwells with Kirsty, It was Terry who ended up on the roof chasing a suspect and it transpired that Terry suffered from a fear of heights (something Mickey picked up on after the arrest) In order to prevent the suspect from escaping Kirsty sprayed him in the eyes with CS spray. The suspect complained all the way through his arrest that his eyes were burning prompting Mickey's sarcastic reply of "Stop whingin' it's fairy dust!"
It was late when I watched it but I don't think Mickey was in it loads. He was in it but all I can really remember is the roof bit, the shirt he was wearing and a scene where he was in CID during briefing with everyone. I can't remember if he interviewed anyone or if that was Terry.
He talked to Jack briefly during briefing I think.
