Also at one point was Mickey on CAD?! He was sat with the headphones on, I wasn't sure if he was watching/listening in to something or if he was on CAD. I thought only Uniform went on CAD.

I adored the scene between Mickey and Mel though and all the lovely beginnings of Mickey/Callum tensions

Ok so the homeless two parter was amazing! I loved the arrest scene though poor Mickey getting spat on! I thought he was going to cry when he was in the changing room

Wasn't a fan of the ending though. It didn't add up with all Mickey's said about his dad prior.

I loved the whole two parter. Chris is just amazing, how much he conveys through a look or a few words.

Awesome appart from the ending. He's such a talented actor, and this time had a good script as well.

yay! finally we get t see some Mickey action! (and at long last get a scene with him with his top off)
But the emotions he can show through his looks and the thoughts in his eyes are just incredible. The scene when he brought her in was touching, the way he spoke so softly and shuck his head at approaching officers.
And they had a concerned Jack too. Although he didn't really say or do much, at the end when Max was telling Mickey off (aww) he just sat there watching??!! (btw did anyone else thing that Mickey lookied amazing in that black t-shirt?)
The ending I too found confusing. From previous statements made through out the show I'd imagioned Mickey's Dad as a horrible man who beat him up as a kid. Maybe there's more to this story? Mickey did say in the older eps that his parents fought, adn then a few days later admited to still seeing his dad round christmas, having those two statements close together don't contradict each other.....do I make any sense? I would love them to write episodes showing their relationship now and in the past and how iot clashes with Mickey's relationship with Jack.

I asked Tim Key on twitter about Mickey's childhood It's way too confusing.
Also that black shirt was just droolworthy. I can't wait to put *that* on dvd. Abs and shirt capping spree!! Also was it just me being an utter perve but was Mickey uber sexy whenever he announced Lenny was dead? Lol!

I loved the look Mickey gave Jack in the office like " Seriously Jack make him stop telling me off!" Hated how Mickey no longer calls him Guv though

The pleading look to Jack was just awesome. Made him look about 8 *Please Dad, this mean bully is telling me off, make him stop*

I'd be intrested to know if there was a definate answer about his childhood and what his Dad was like; I always had the impression it was bad news and that Jack was pretty much his Dad.

On the subject of uber sexiness - the beard / black t-shirt / bare chested were all moments of total loveliness. Will rewatch, methinks!

Ok so utter fangirlness but just hearing Mickey say daddy made me feel all warm and fuzzy
Also Mickey/Callum tension was amazing! What the heck was he doing in the locker room though? Faffing about with his belt by the looks of it lol!

Thought it was a cracking ep; loved the old, defiante 'I know best' attitude that was creeping in at the end. And they saved the baby, which was good

Though am I being over sensative when I thought Mickey probably wouldn't be comfortable with a public locker room for getting changed in? Seems a big ask for him.

^ See that's what confused me. He's CID so why was he getting changed to begin with? I assume he'd gotten changed because he looked to be threading his belt back through his jeans and re-fastening it. I wanted the camera to pan lower too though Hilary

I'm not sure how he'd feel about getting changed in a public locker room. Maybe he has a coping mechanism, not to trivialise his rape in any way or form but it's been seven years? He won't have got over it, I doubt he ever really could, but he might have learned to deal with it?

I know he was alone last week when he showered and had his top off so who knows. Might be one to address in the world of fanfiction.

Hmm yes. I did rewatch the shower scene, for research purposes only, you understand.

I can only think he was hovering around the locker room wanting to find Stone so he could talk? But why should be be changing? Very strange.

I liked the explosion as well; I'm quite easy to please and things blowing up tends to appeal. It looked pretty good, ie higher budget than normal

I almost envy you doing the capping! Unless they end up with half naked Eddie....Urggh. I need to bleach my brain now. *Shudders*
