No this is perfect where it is thankies Ahhh this is gonna be hard lol! Be prepared for an essay of Mickey related episodes I adore 154 and 155, the scene where Mickey breaks down and tells Jack and then the whole exchange with Mickey and Delaney where he manages to beat the snot out of him for a few moments are my favourites. I also sickly really love when Delaney tells everyone and Mickey screaming "Are you gonna report it? ARE YOU GONNA REPORT IT?!". Britianniamania is another favourite, a wonderful multiparter. Operation Brass Balls is fab, nice to see happy Mickey (plus the robot baby! Mickey can't dance but he looks cute trying ) The Night before is great - Mickey the DC who despised Christmas with good reason. Any episode with Mickey and Carrie Morgan. I forget the numbers at the moment but the one where he discovers Carrie's been raped and talks her out of killing the pimp is awesome, the first re-meeting after she helps put Delaney away where Leela shows Mickey the photo and he almost goes dizzy , plus the very sweet "You've got more to offer than that" with the hug and kiss to Carrie when she implies she can thank him with sex. Also when he sees her again and she kisses him and he tells her he's with Mia and they play "You could be happy" by Snow Patrol...omg Carrie/Mickey were destined to be together One of the Carrie episodes - where Mickey tells Mia about Delaney that was amazing acting by Chris with the whole speech about not feeling normal and always being ashamed. Hold me tight - love, love, LOVE his argument with Grace " You know I was Mason once I didn't go kicking little girls' heads in!!!" and also " And that makes you the perfect husband and the perfect father!" his blatant disgust for Mason's father is awesome, fabulously linked by to Mickey's own childhood. It's what I adore about the Bill for once they have consistant characterisation. Everything Mickey does is shaped and formed by his history. 408 & 409 - The one where Mickey's ex girlfriend's kids go missing and he finds out about the domestic abuse and tries so hard not to lose it. (I guess I like scenes more than eps!) Punching the wall, arresting Molly, also the follow on episodes 414 where he cheats on Mia (bad Mickey!!) were well done with him accidently coaching Fern and then sleeping with Steph. The one where he tells Mia in the pub about cheating is sad as well. 451 - Number could be wrong but the one where Mickey goes from rape victim to accused rapist due to his reckless behaviour of drinking and potentially unsafe sex. The exchange between Mickey and Jack in the hallway of Mickey's house - " I just wanna make someone hurt as much as I do!" - simply stellar. 15? - one of the episodes before the rape where Mickey ends up at Rachel Heath's house to pay her off. Despicable actions from Mickey, one of those that shows his darker side, but great in showing the other dynamic of Mickey and Jack's relationship, love the way Jack has Mickey on the floor screaming at him, arresting him and Mickey's whole half sarcastic reply of something like " Ohh gonna have me up on a GBH charge with the prostitute" as he's shoved against the wall face first. 008 - I think that's the right number. Where Kate's died and Mickey attacks the towel dispenser before going to the hospital. The scene where he's sat crying in the hospital with Debbie - so sad. I'll leave it there but I'm sure I'll think of more later lol!

wow. There are so many to choose from. The ones with Delany are high up there ofcause, especially the part where Jack holds him. Alos when Mickey comes back with MIT and his fiance is bent, and when he returns to help them catch Delany, the conversation between Jack and Mickey during that episode while leaning against the car is great. WEhen he punches Heaton (yay!) The Brittannia Episodes cannot be missed out! The 2 episode with the bombs in with him, especially when he's waitying for Kezia to help her while putting himserlf at risk being so close to the biomb site. Forgotten Child, when he's in the ar with the female German officer and blushing like mad!

Awww the one where he punches Heaton is fab "What did you do? Slip?!" and " I'm leaving before I get pushed out!" " Don't be stupid stay in the job" " I don't want it! Not now!" I love his tempermant in that respect lol! Another one I love is Code of Silence where the man's raped and everyone tip toes about Mickey who actually isn't as bothered as he should have been. There was a class scene where Phil and Jack were discussing the motives for rape with Heaton and Mickey said power and went on a speech about statistics and how more male rapes are committed by heterosexual males than homosexual and there was a moment where Manson asked Jack "Am I missing something?" prompting worry from me that he was going to tell Neil about Mickey but he didn't. Great episode.

I'll upload it and put it in the download section. I'll do it with Forgotten Child as well. Omg Forgotten Child part 2. I finally saw it and it was awesome. Mickey going undercover, great dynamics between Mickey and Jo (including Jo stealing Mickey's crisps and pinching his face ) and just a very powerful ep!

I'd go along with the delaney storyline (the moment with Jack in the graveyard is truly haunting, when Mickey just holds out his hands to show the rope burns I start crying), I also love the Carrie Morgan storylines, and the moment where she tells him she was raped where his face just falls and afterwards where you can see he'd have done anything to stop her from going through that. Prodigal Son was a good one, loved the Jack/Mickey dynamic. Code of Silence, of course "I got car jacked once, don't mean I always get jumpy where there's a car jacking", Cry Wolf...

I'm getting so exited there are so many episode I still havn't seen! I only saw the last part of cry wolf but, the empathy was so touching his determination too and understanding, he showed it all without actually saying anything or reminding anyone at the station. Perfect. It's moments like those when you wonder why on earth isn't he married with kids yet?

oh another one, I think it's 197 when Mickey's back at sun hill and Neil's trying to get rid of Eva, and Mickey tells Eva about how Jack looked after him when he was raped, you can see the total and utter loyalty to Jack which I find adorable

Perfect. It's moments like those when you wonder why on earth isn't he married with kids yet? It's moments like that which confirm why he's not married with kids to me personally. He still doesn't appear to deal well with relationships. He's very sweet and understanding with fellow victims and people who have been through similar things to him (e.g. child abuse, domestic violence) but if you just leave him to chat with a girl who's not a longtime co-worker/fellow victim he goes to pieces, gets tongue tied and seems at a loss. He's fine with one nighters but anything resembling a relationship that involves making the first move or communicating further than he wishes understandably leaves him daunted. He might not be like that anymore but hey we'll never know seeing as how TB producers seem to relegate him to either the cupboard or designated Rape victim support. I wish they would give Mickey a girlfriend that resulted in a happy relationship though First there was Kate who didn't love him, Liz who supposedly did but was bent, then there was Mia who he did love but was afraid of so sabotaged the relationship himself, then when they got back on track she went with Heaton! I swear Mickey is just the writer's punchbag.

And I think the idea of being a dad would scare the hell out of Mickey too, the hints at his past experiences suggest that he'd worry about being good enough for any child.

I agree that Mickey would think he would be a very poor Dad - I think he'd acually be great, but I can't imagine him trusting himself enough. The 'will I turn out like him?' fear would always be there. As for a relationship, I think it's quite common for children from broken homes to repeat the pattern. What has he got to base his ideas of how to behave and act on? Plus, there's the whole trust issue; I swear he doesn't trust anyone completely, not even Jack, and until he learns how, he's poor relationship material. And I think he's the writer's punchbag because Chris does the upset look so well. What a resource
