I missed most of the episode I was too busy with dissertation stuff. (handed it in thank God!) I'll have to watch the repeat on Monday. I did catch the part where Jerry was saying something about trusting Mickey but wasn't sure what it related to or anything. I did like Mickey's shirt from what I saw of it

YAY! Thee huuge project challange, the dissertation is done! Congradulations! It is a good episode His friends do just nede to learn that he's not out to get them he's just doing his job and they should trust him! poor guy. I think they could have involved more from his past though considering they're old friends of his.

Yeah I'd love an episode based on Mickey's past. Kinda like those one hander episodes of Eastenders where they centre on one character. I think it'd be really interesting to see some of Mickey's past in Romfrod(sp?) and Dagenham expanded on.

I agree. We hardly know anything of his past or his family, the whole relationship with his Father is unclear. It would be good to have some information on that. It would also be a nice little bonding moment to have with Jack. OK, maybe I'm obsessed about Mickey and Jack (friendship) at the moment, but they're depriving us!

LOL! They are. I'm especially aware of it because I've been watching old Delaney stuff where granted Jack and Mickey were rowing but the friendship was still there well Mickey was trying to salvage it.

That kind of friendship is what makes a programme so darn good! It can't all be bang boo explosion super fast chase, girls in leather murder. Personal proplems, seeing how this way of life effects them has always been thee main part of best sellers. I've never gotten into a programme which doesn't have a strong friendship (preferbly with an attractive male character) Otherwise who really cares if they get blown to bits in the next episode?

Did Chris have a black eye in this morning's episode? Also when Mickey was meant to be looking something up for Neil and Heaton I'm sure he was on Facebook The being held at gun point was a really good scene. Mickey: What happens now? You gonna shoot us? Bless him

oh yay, a gun seen for Mickey! Hardly ever have anything like that for him. They need to give him more action, he has been on for a decade he deserves a huuuge dangerous story line with plenty of angst and Jack there to worry and help.

Well that's cause Smithy is usually the go to hostage guy Mickey's the crier. If they need crying or I dunno sympathy they'll go with Mickey Personally I'd like to see more chest pushing The chances of Mickey and Jack having actual friendship scenes seem slim. Though they did have a semi scene in Great power with the rollicking and then the look. That was such a "I'm sorry" look from Mickey as well lol!

Phil: You sure you alright? Mickey: Yeah you? Phil: Yeah why wouldn't I be? Mickey: Well why wouldn't I be? I got carjacked once as well, doesn't mean I get twitchy everytime one of them gets brought in. Bless Mickey! I forgot how much I loved this episode, the angst fiend in me wanted Mickey to be affected more than he was but it was still subtly brilliant what with Jack making Phil watch out for him, and his "Did we get him? I'm glad" I still thought Jack was going to tell Neil. ETA: ok what the hell Simmons? how fit is he?! running and going up steps without collapsing?
