For some reason Mickey normally gets put with the newbie He was with Stevie, Banksy, Grace...maybe they think he'll be sympathetic I still love when Mickey came back (in effect being the 'newbie') and got put with Zain who wasn't pleased. I still love: It's all very " Look after my son and make sure he makes new friends or you're in trouble"

Mickey's the best one to introduce them to the lot though, ease them in. He on the other hand just got plonked with Zain, and yet managed to make a good friend of hi.....well untill the whole murderer betrayal bent cop thing. But goodness knows what Jack would have done to Zain if anything had happened to Mickey on his return. It seemed as though his career depended on it.
Yay, 2 Mickey episodes yupeeee! What a good morning. Although I would have liked to have seen him ore involved in the case with Jack in the second episode. espeically since it was bringing up a bit of Jack's past you think it would be a good moment to copare then and now with who he has.

That's true. I like Grace and Mickey together, even if Mickey seemed a bit fazed by the coolness. I liked them searching the house and finding the secret room Yeah I would have thought Mickey might have done more on Jack's case. Then again he sort of knows what Jack was like before as a result of the corruption case he interfered in. I swear the only way to successfully investigate Mickey or Jack is to lock the other one in a room somewhere without phones otherwise they just come sticking their oar in defending each other and wrecking anyone's investigation

lol yeah. I liked the bit where he asked her what she did to end up there, and she said some thing like she was lucky to still be on the job Mickey: Really? Grace No. You can't blame him for being curious. But the look on his face was just adorable.
When Mickey was accused of corruption in the place of Neil though Jack was on his case and Mickey was on his own to proove innocence. I would like a case to come up from Mickey's past, we've never really heard anything about his life before sun hill, and for them to have to investigate and Jack to this time step in and help Mickey out. It would also help to develop their characters further.

Yeah I liked how he took her seriously That was mainly because all the evidence they had did point to Mickey at the time...plus Neil was on Jack's team so he was going to put him before Mickey who was working for the NCS. Also Mickey was running around doing what he wanted as per usual I do still hate Mickey's " You think it's me?!" and " DCI Meadows accused me of bein' bent, my intention was just to prove 'im wrong" where his voice breaks and he just looks like a puppy that's been kicked We know a little bit about his life in Dagenham what with Fern and all. Also all of Mickey's mates are dodgy

Loved Mickey's parts in today's episode. I felt kinda bad for him when Jack had told CID to get into teams and Mickey sort of wasn't in one until I realised him and Jack were a team Loved Neil and Mickey together as well, plus the " Watch out!" bit was really good (great dive Mr Simmons!) Poor Jack getting belted with the bat though! I now can't decided which I like better - tea and sympathy to the victims Mickey or Bad!Cop interrogator Mickey. "Start talking before I really get the hump!" Also Stuart and the paint was awesome and Jo with " I think that was his best jumper" LOL! Can I just point out as well, with Chris' accent when he said "Thugs" I totally thought he said something else and was wondering how on earth that got broadcast at 10am....until I listened again and realised it was thugs and not the F word

LOL" Yes. Its a shame they don't have any of those relationships in the series now or at least they don't show them.

Yeah it is a shame. There was a semblance of Mickey-Jackness in "Great Power" I guess.

I'm starting to really quite like Manson. His help for Smithy was sweet, not once did he make any harsh comments he was supportive all the way. Would have liked Mickey to come in with the support there too, he's good at that. They should get the two to work together, they'd go well.

He knows them from somewhere (Dagenham maybe?) and he knows them well because the girl he was interviewing he calls "Rubes" and hugs her a lot when he first sees her at her dad's shop. Her dad is Mickey's mate from what I remember seeing on youtube. They're close mates because when Mickey goes in the shop he just walks behind the counter and gets himself a drink of juice

To be honest, they don't seem to be such good friends to him, I mean when she said "I thought we were supposed to be mates" when he asked them to come down to the station was rather harsh. what did she expect him to do, quit his job? He helped them the best he could! It's not his fault she goes off with idiots. sheesh! Sorry for the rant, everyone just seemed to be going at him. The interaction with Kezia was cute.
