THE Bill star Chris Simmons has dodged a driving ban – thanks to his sister. The actor, DC Mickey Webb in the ITV1 hit, admitted doing 52mph in a 40mph zone at Reigate, Surrey.
He already had nine points for speeding and faced an automatic ban.
But Redhill JPs spared him after his sister said he drove her kids to school.
The star, 33, was instead told to pay £118 and landed three points.
A pal of Simmons, from Crouch End, North London, said: “Chris is extremely relieved.”

aw bless him. who doesn't speed? 52 isn't exactly fast in a 40mph limit, 30 limit maybe but everyone does that in a rush! It's so sweet of him t pick up his sister's kids. I can imagine him being great with children.
"Chris is extremely relieved" lol. I'd imagine he would be!

I thought it was rather stupid of him tbh. He already has nine points - seems he needs to be a more careful driver before he hurts someone. Bad boy!
