Australian DVD releases of The Bill are seasons ahead of the UK. The seasons featuring Mickey that have been released in Australia thus far are:
Series 15: Part 3 & 4 (released 5th June 2013)
Series 16: Part 1 & 2 (released 5th June 2013)
Series 16: Part 3 & 4 (released 5th June 2013)
And future releases are:
Series 17: Part 1 & 2 (released 14th August 2013)
Series 17: Part 3 & 4 (released 14th August 2013)
Series 18: Part 1 & 2 (released 14th August 2013)
Series 18: Part 3 & 4 (released 14th August 2013)
Series 19: Part 1-3 (released 16th October 2013)
You can purchase these and they'll play on UK DVD players as they're region free, however, they are remarkably expensive. From comparing various sites, the individual volumes range from £50-£80 before the cost of shipping has been calculated.
I haven't bought any official DVD sets as of yet, mainly because of the price. I'm hoping the prices will go down otherwise I will have to continue recording repeats from Watch or Drama to DVD-R.
Speaking of Drama, they are currently showing episodes from Series 14. Chris guest stars in that series' episode "The personal touch" and Series 15's Lola before coming aboard as Mickey in Series 16, so it's possible Drama will eventually show these episodes.
