Split this off from dreams so we could have an indepth conversation without going waaaaay off topic oh stevie, mickey would be much better for you than smithy. why do all the cid girls fall for smithy? I have no idea. There was Kezia and Stevie wasn't there? Mickey hardly gets anyone from work fancying him. I mean Kate give him the run around, he had Robbie Cryer wrapped around his finger but dumped her because of Phil then decided he actually did like Robbie but by the time he got his act together she had a boyfriend. Liz was bent, he messed Mia around and got messed around in return....poor boy! Sun Hill is just a bad place for love

Yay, I can have a full-on rant here! Meh, lets give him Stevie, he'd be happy then ;D I'd have guessed he's matured now.... Hm, god knows, past 2 years he hasn't been in a relationship! Yeah, Stevie/Mickey for ness. And cuteness. I quite like Stevie/Smithy, they're pretty cute too. They bounced off each other really well in quite a few scenes in Gun Runner. But outside of Gun Runner, Conviction and Absolute Power, I can't think of any other episodes where they've reacted, par a really really small exchange in Matters of the Mind. Stevie: Well, I used to be a magician's assistant. Smithy: What, to pull you outta his hat? Stevie: Yeah Stevie/Neil ;D Oh look, another pairing with Stevie They'd be pretty funny together, and sweet. Stevie's incredibly shipable, I think that's just down to her character. I'll go on about my other ships that don't involve Stevie later

I'm rather fond of Grace/Neil. Mickey/Stevie would be cute, though she seems to be in limbo re: Smithy.

Yeah, Grace/Neil is quite good They're both like-minded people. I know it's not an actual pairing, but I quite like the friendship between Jo and Grace. If anything, the writers will do Smithy/Stevie, maybe not as a actual couple, but you know. ;D The furthest the writers are going to go with Stevie/Mickey is that they're going to be teasing each other relentlessly. Mind you, a one night stand between Stevie and Mickey would be funny ;D

I hope Mickey's managed to get past the one night stand phase. But I can iagine because they are so good together it wouldn't damage their relationship.
I used to think Mickey would be good with Kezia (again she went with Smithy!) espcially after he helped her with her exams. (he was so sweet) He needs a girlfriend though. He's had two years to mature and sort himself out, he's ready I'd say.

Did he help Kezia with her exams as well? I know he helped Suzie Sim. I never understood their friendship, he was so chatty and interesting and she was well...not He seemed really pally with her though. I think he knocked the regular one night stands on the head after the rape allegation. I'm just glad he never got with Sally! It seemed it was heading that way for a while. Scary stuff

I think he helped her get to DC. Don't take my word for it. Who's suzie sim?
When Stevie first arrived she was put with him. He seems like the best one to introduce them. lol, but in one of the earlier ones he nearly crashed into a new authority driving into the station and didn't make a very good fisrt impression. I can't remmeber who though. He's certainly grown up.

I would love to see ickey with the responsability of looking after a child, I can imagine he'd be great with kids. Maybe one of his ex's could turn up needing his help as a police man and as a friend. and it'll be his chance to show how he's moved on, that he gets on well with people without holding grudges.

Suzie Sim was around in 2005 when Mickey came back. She was an Asian woman, she was trying to get to DS and Mickey helped her with her exams and was rather matey with her even though she didn't really like working with other people. Mickey helped her out when she had trouble with her parents. They were being robbed and thought it was cleaner, her parents were rather prejudiced and liked Mickey for being male and having worked with MIT but went off him after discovering he was originally from a council estate.
He nearly crashed into Eva Sharpe. That was the day of the memorial and he was all cut up about Kate so I excuse his blatant rudeness. Plus he was funny lol!
I'd love to see him with a child too. I need to finish my fanfic on that!

Suzie Sim. I recognise the name but I don't remember her character. oh yay could this mean there are another set of Mickey episode for me to watch! Hw rude of her parents though. It doesn't matter where you come from or who you were, what matters is who you are and he's clearly a perfect gentleman.
You're writing a fanfic where he's with a child? oooo please do explin it!

^ Suzie Sim. Bonus MickeyShe was a rather wooden character Her parents were pretty aloof. The bit about the council estate was: Suzie's mum: She lives in a bedsit. Mickey: I grew up on a council estate Mrs Sim, it doesn't make you a thief! One of the best Mickey retorts Though you have to love how all Mickey's mates he grew up with are well dodgy!Yeah I'm writing a fic where a woman turns up on Mickey's doorstep with a boy in tow claiming he's Mickey's son. This woman would have been one of the many one night stands Mickey had post-Delaney and then basically it goes from there if I ever get it finished. It'd help if I tried to write it and wasn't so enthralled with putting Mickey undercover in prison

Oh I think I remember her in a few episodes. Not seen those though (yupeee!) They really should give more away about Mickey's past and how he became a cop from the council estate and his dad etc. They could give him his whole own programme if they wanted to. *hint* You're story sounds awesome! You're writing Mickey being undercover in prison? how's it going?

I'll try get the episode uploaded for you tomorrow. Mickey was rather sweet in it. He was happy until the end as well. Bloody Suzie! Thanks. Yeah I'm attempting it. It's pretty all over the place at the moment. I still owe you a Mickey undercover fic so if I ever finish it, it can be yours I've sent him in with Max and Terry, Mickey's pretty traumatised....though that's to be expected really. Jack's angry he wasn't informed and is fretting over Mickey. I torture them too much I need to get Stevie in there somewhere. Perhaps she can be Mickey's girlfriend.
