Mickey's habit

So I decided to watch loads of episodes of The Bill today as a break away from the dreaded Dissertation and noticed Mickey has a habit regarding pens. He puts them in his mouth. A lot.





^Walking down the corridors of Sun Hill, why wouldn't you randomly have a pen in your mouth?



^ Who cares if you're talking to people Mickey? Of course you're not going to take the pen away.



^Had to wait for two seconds whilst Suzie was on the phone.....


^Not even his pen!





^ At least he appears to be doing work here.


^This pen belongs to the bookies! He actually chews this one like it's gum. I would so hate to see him in Argos.

lol! don't worry Mickey it's an understandable habbit. you should see the state of my pens/pencils, teeth marks all the way the top!
they're just so tasty!
I would say in some of them he looks quite cute, the way his mind wonders when diracted by such a simple object, but the last one, no mickey just, no.

LOL! Yeah the last one isn't as flattering as it could be. See I chew pens but he appears to use his mouth to carry them in It's like get a pencil case

lol. get him one for his birthday.
it could show him up as being dedicated to his job, got a pen ready all the time to work.
I know I'm clutching at straws there, ok he does have a habbit but it beets drugs.

I was watching an episode the other day and Ken asked someone for a pen because "I lent my last one to Mickey Webb and it came back with teeth ridges all along the top"

They should have him do that to one of Jacks.

I can't actually remember I watched quite a few in succession and the only one I can remember watching is 125 because it was the start of Delaney (and I got creeped out as I'm alone). If I do remember I shall post a link.

So did anyone see Mickey this morning in briefing? A black biro fell victim to his idle chewing

It's an addiction hard to stop!

It is. I also think he just has to fidget. It's like when he had the bolt cutters today as well and he was playing with them!

^Mickey's life is in danger, he has to consider going into a safe house.....heads straight for the trusty comforter of the biro

Also we can see here that he does indeed have somewhere other than his mouth to put his pens but they seem to be missing (or chewed to the point of needing to be binned) resulting in him mainly housing pencils in the pot

Nothing like a good old birror to settle the nerves.
he has a whole stash of them ready by the desk. being a police man is a tricky job. many fall towards alcohol or drugs or in thois case, birros. the man needs help.

Yes lol! It's rather funny to see they've kept the continuity re: pens and Mickey. That or Chris just really can't help but chew on them...

I'd laugh if it says in the script, *Mickey picks up pen and chews it* ;D I've never actually noticed that before! I've noticed other characters habits though.....
