Ah that's a fair point re: too many characters suffering the same thing. I mean there was Mickey, June, Kerry, plus all the ones that came along as a result of Delaney...I only ever remember Laura Meadows. Yes Chris is very, very good at conveying so much with just a look. I can never watch him too much  |

Apparently The Bill is moving to Tuesdays at 9 from next week. ITV's burying of the show is in full force then

P It's been a long time since I watched the Delaney eps but I thought Mickey was the only one he raped; thought he just beat up Rachel Heath and mudered Eddie MaGowen..not sure about Laura Meadows though I think that ep might have been aired just before I started watching. Apparently The Bill is moving to Tuesdays at 9 from next week. ITV's burying of the show is in full force then That would not surprise me, ITV are notorious for messing with the tv schedules, particlary when it comes to The Bill. |

Mickey tells Jack that Laura was raped (thinking he already knew) and they have a massive bust up in the yard where Jack's pretty nasty to Mickey. I'm not sure if Delaney raped Laura now  I get confused lol! |

I thougt Laura got raped too, oh well, we'll have to watch it again. Oh what a chore!  Has there been any news on the dreaded end? any ideas hinting towards what they may do as a huge climax? |

I looked it up the only one Delaney raped was Mickey  Laura got raped by someone she met on the internet. I haven't heard anything Re: the end yet. |

I hope the final episode will be memorable and do justice not only to the brilliant acting talent The Bill has (like Chris) but also to the fact that the show has been well loved for over 20 years. I worry though that the final episode will be low-key and poorly or hastily written, although I'd like the door to be left open, so to speak, so that when ITV finally get over this whole reality TV obession and realise that drama is the way to go they can resume it (or if that doesn't happen) another channel can pick it up |

Yeah I'm in agreement with everything you've said  I just have visions in my head of everyone packing up their desks in the final episode for some reason and dammit I want a Jack-Mickey scene!! |
