Mickey and the Parker family and Mickey/Mia

Have spent the weekend browsing old episodes on youtube, and have been watching 406-9 especially, which is kind of the start of Mickey/Mia and also the episodes with Fern Parker and the children. Can't find the ones where Fern kills Tom though

I'd forgotten quite how much I loved those episodes, only Mickey could end up being the best man at an ex-girlfriend's wedding, and his reaction to finding out his mate had been abusive towards Fern was just so realistic. And of course Mickey is one of those people who is able to remain friends with an ex and be supportive of them. The scene at the end of 408 I think it is where Charlotte has just been arrested and he's holding Fern and is in tears... Chris is so good at that understated emotion.

Also loved the undercurrent of the developing relationship with Mia, with Daddy Jack sticking his nose in and telling Mia about Liz. I'm starting to like Mickey/Mia now, she was very patient with him. And of course, Mickey is just adorable and so bloody good at showing how his confidence had been completely wrecked by Liz. No wonder he went off the rails poor boy.

Aww yeah I loved what I'd seen of those. I particularly liked the one after Fern killed Tom and Mickey unwittingly coached her into giving a statement of self defence. I wasn't too impressed with him sleeping with Steph, though there was somewhat boyish charm in the way he closed the door after Mia left and sort of 'phewwed' with relief lol!

I adore his reaction to finding out about the darker side to Tom and Fern's marriage, the way he punches the lift when you can tell he really wants to punch Tom's face, and when Molly's got worse and Jack tells him and he's sat crying in the office - bless him!

Great eps, they should reshow them!

OMG, what am I missing. these sound amazing! I've seen the eops where Mickey kind of pushes Fern into stating it was self defence on youtube I think but the others I've never come across. He was so patient and understanding with her. oooo yay it's just so great that there are more eps out there fore me to watch.

The little glances given to him by Jack when he was with Mia were just adorable and his reaction to making the phone call was fantastic!

I downloaded these episodes the other day and was wondering if people wanted them uploading? I finally saw the one where Fern stabbed Tom and can I just say Mickey,I personally don't think grabbing Fern's arm and shouting at her when she's already in an abusive relationship is the best of responses. Also Chris does his wonderful sad face again .
