Wow that is a lot! I think mine are to lose weight and actually do my dissertation and get my degree and hopefully get a job after.

Mine are (as every year) 1) exercise more 2) take lunch to work every day 3) lots of No Spend Days (I'm skint so like to have days where I spend nothing at all) 4) less alcohol 5) use up all the products in the bathroom 6) declutter 7) plan my meals so I don't have takeaways every other day 8) Not spend anything else on the credit cards 9) less time on the internet, more time sorting the house 10) not buy clothes unless I need them the usual, and I'd say highly unlikely to last beyond January

I put mine up on the nanowrimo site (cool writing site, that one) and now I can't seem to find them. How convient. ;D Off the top of my head, I remember 1. Get back fit enough to run 5 miles - I've been chronically sick since July, and my doc doesn't think this will happen. I'm not listening until he tells me what's actually wrong 2. Loose weight. Shame I wasn't thinking of this before Christmas 3. Learn to drive 4. Repair a friendship with an old mate after a stupid falling out 5. Dye my hair a silly colour for 24 hours at least. I like royal blue ;D 6. Finish first OU course and sign up for another 7. Get one assignment in BEFORE the due date 8. Celebrate madly at my book signing / luanch in March 9. Write more poems 10. Really, really learn to drive. I hate cars but there's no public transport here. 11. I mean it about the driving. Butt kicking for all the above greatly appreciated - I hope you all achieve some of yours I like telling other people my plans; that way, they're more likely to get carried out. And hey, it's nice to daydream about what a good person we could be.

I'd love to keep at least one New year resolution. I'd like to start running, dunno if that'll ever happen though. I'll stick to my Davina fitness dvd for now!
New year, new start. I like to think of it as the proverbial kick up the backside

oh, and the driving thing? go for it people! I learned to drive last year after having lessons on and off for 10 years, and it's the best thing I've ever done.

I wish I could get my butt in gear and learn to drive. At least I could escape home once in a while then....I'm sort of dreading leaving uni but hell I can't wait to get a job and my own flat somewhere. Now if only I could do some uni work to help graduate......

Eeek driving...me and my best mate made a pact yesterday...we will pass this year. Pedrestrians in Cornwall beware ;D And driving instructors. Olivasolar, I'm kind of an author. I've done a bit of journalism in the past and fanfic, but this is a self-published fantasy novel called Dragonhead Station, about a world where magic is illegal and the main characters are trying to overthrow the Empire so magic users have some rights. Problem is, they're in the Army (Dragon Transport Corps) and are having a tough job starting a revolution against their friends. Luanch is Monday 10th March; the website is due to go live sometime around 15th Jan. It's exciting! I'm trying to scheldure the good stuff around uni.
