Smithy: We had words and I let slip in front of his missus he was stalking a prostitute Jack: Bet he loved that Mickey: uhyeah I also love the scene with Mickey and Smithy in the house where they see something and Mickey just mutters "Woah..." Which episode is that?

So what did Leanne take away from today's episode? It's no wonder Mickey's so skinny when the poor lad isn't allowed to get breakfast (eventhough he was in on the dot Jack!) and he skips dinner in favour of checking the case details and gets his crisps nicked by Stuart. I never hated Stuart much until he started having a go at Mickey....strange coincidence there I did however love their little exchange about keeping in the good books where Mickey muttered snidey comments beneath his breath

Ah yes it was nice. I'm still loving the leather jacket. I mean I know Mickey was being a bit hot and cold with her but Heaton?? Out of all of Sun Hill if you were gonna cheat on Mickey...Heaton really? She could do better! I just love how that scene managed to shush my housemates up... they actually paid attention and commented on the actual story for a change with one going " Isn't she Mickey's girlfriend?" and the other chanting " Cheater, cheater compulsive eater" we also got a lovely " Oooooooh!" when they showed the preview and Mickey said "give us a kiss" only to be denied. Poor, poor Mickey. I'd kiss him

I know. How could anyone cheat when they had Mickey? You think he'd be more than enough! and Heaton's married too! They certainly have alot of explaining to do.
Anyone else love the way Mickey was speaking to the escapee near the end?

I think Heaton and his wife are separated but still! I know Mickey cheated on Mia so it's hypocritical really but he told her about Delaney!

yeah Heaton's wife left him well and truly after the Ray Moore thing I think? Although I got the impression he'd cheated on her throughout the marriage - eg with DAC Hobbs. I think if it had been someone else Mickey could have forgiven Mia, but with it being Heaton (I have images of Mickey and Jack going for a drink not long after Heaton arrived and having a good old bitching session about him but that's by the by). I think the power differentials made him feel too vulnerable. But either way, the girl is insane. It's not like she fought to save the relationship either, is it?

Nope I think because it was Heaton, Mickey just couldn't cope. It was far too much like Kate and Chandler.

Watching it again, I get the impression that Heaton actually went out to try to get Mia, what with all the fishing for compliments. The git.

Heaton's a horrible person He was just waiting in the wings to make his move when Mickey had a go at Mia. He should have kept his nose out and let them work it out instead of getting into Mia's pants. Mickey should have been a bit more consistent with his feelings but well it is Mickey....
